A Taste of Palestine

A Taste of Palestine is an introduction to Palestinian food. It's also an introduction to some friends of mine. They've shared their recipes for four iconic dishes and in doing so, they offer a glimpse of life in Jerusalem, Taybeh, Jenin and Gaza. They each have a story to tell - stories of love and dignity in the face of adversity - while their recipes tell of a culinary history rooted in the land itself It's their hope that one day soon you'll share their food in its native land. That this book will encourage people to return as tourists, pilgrims and guests. And to leave as friends. All profits from the sale of this book will go to charities supporting vulnerable communities in the West Bank, Jerusalem and Gaza. See links in text for details.
