Olivia: Rebirth of the Anointed (The Goldenborn Legacy Book 1)

The Legend Is Born For decades, the children of the planet Marieux have been told tales of a savior who would free their world from the clutches of the heartless organization that controls it. Military rule, unjust laws, and the recruitment of women to serve their oppressors, they are born into a society steeped in despair. Each passing year makes it less conceivable that the prophecy of the Anointed Daughter of the Marinites is true. Seventeen-year-old Olivia Kalaath has heard this fable since childhood and has rejected it for just as long, despite having being accused of being the prophesied savior. With her golden eyes and skin and extraordinary instincts, she embodies the traits of the mythical figure. But being different has its price. To keep herself and her birth mother below the radar of the Shadow Realm Allegiance, she practices the age-old art of concealing, a survival method she learned as a child. But when her best friend goes missing, Olivia must decide once and for all what she truly believes.
