Slapshot Séance: A Small-Town Hockey Romance

They say the ice remembers every drop of blood ever spilled. She’s here to prove them wrong. Elowen 'Lark' Montrose lives in the shadows of a legacy she never asked for. As the daughter of a disgraced hockey legend, she knows that 'curses' are just excuses for failure. Undercover as the equipment manager for the Grimsby Ghouls, her plan is simple: expose the town’s forty-year haunting as a hoax and finish her folklore thesis. But when the arena’s Zamboni starts playing funeral marches and her equipment room becomes a gallery of the macabre, the line between myth and reality begins to blur. Team captain Cassian Vance doesn’t have time for ghosts. He’s a man of physics and grit, fighting to win a championship that is the only thing standing between his town and economic ruin. He doesn’t trust the new girl who sharpens skates with professional precision and looks at him with eyes that see too much. But as the sabotage turns deadly and the playoffs loom, he realizes his biggest threat isn't a phantom—it's the chemistry he feels with the woman who might be hiding the biggest secret of all.
