Summer Job

A Nostalgic, High-Stakes Romantic Comedy. They say every action has a reaction, and sometimes a seemingly insignificant event can forever change your fate. For Brock McKenna, this is about to spark an existential crisis. It’s the summer of 1999, and Brock’s life feels confined. He’s a college student with zero prospects, a lifetime of being bullied, and a fresh set of bruises from the latest time he tried—and failed—to stand up for himself. He desperately needs a change, and it comes in the form of a simple summer gig. But his new job quickly spirals into a high-stakes test of courage, complete with accidental chaos, unexpected action, and a chance interaction that flips Brock's world completely upside down. When a massive, life-altering decision lands squarely in his lap, Brock has to stop running. If he can survive the madness and find his footing, he might just prove his worth—and in the process, win the girl of his dreams. Grab your flip phone, strap in, and get ready for a summer you’ll never forget.
