THE GRANT: STATUS APPROVED (THE CHOSEN FILES)

THE GRANT: STATUS APPROVED They applied for one foster child. The grant approved six. A paid-off mortgage. A monthly stipend. Lifetime financial security. It sounded too good to refuse. When Indigo and Cole agree to participate in an exclusive foster care grant, they expect paperwork, home inspections, and one child in need of a family. Instead… six children arrive. No explanation. No interviews. No option to decline. At first, the children seem unusually quiet… unusually observant. Then impossible things begin happening inside the house. Questions go unanswered. The children know things they were never told. And every answer uncovers something far worse than the question that came before it. Someone is watching. The house is changing. And nothing about the grant is what it seems. With every answer, Indigo uncovers another impossible truth. The grant didn’t choose a family by accident. It chose hers. THE GRANT: STATUS APPROVED is the third file in The Chosen Files—a collection of standalone psychological horror novels. Each file tells a different story, but together they reveal pieces of a much larger mystery. Read in any order.
