The Magic Club and the Canal Witch

Some Doors Should Never Be Opened. Some Mysteries Refuse to Stay Buried. Sixth grade at Mobile Middle School should be about football games, school dances, and surviving mystery meat in the cafeteria. Instead, Ben, Anna, Scooter, Frankie, Francesca, Stewart, Camilla, and Lucas discover hidden tunnels beneath their school, a missing teacher no one seems able to remember, and a mysterious lunch lady who may have been watching over Mobile for more than a century. As storms gather and strange disappearances spread across the city, the Magic Club finds itself drawn into a mystery older than the school itself. Deep beneath Mobile, something is waiting in the darkness. To save their friends, they'll have to uncover the truth about the Canal Witch before the rising tide awakens secrets that were never meant to be found.
